"Rod knocking"...?
who told you this? I'd like to know how you determined the problem.
Of course you can take it in. why would an exhaust or suspension or bov cause your problem?
I just would like to know how you determined your problem if you didn't bring it into the shop.

Once again I have told numerous people on here if something fails on your car they have to prove that the parts you installed are a direct cause of the failure and it would be hard as hell for them to prove that your parts caused you to spin either a rod bearing or a main bearing or what ever is wrong. There is a member on here that was told by them that his turbo was seized and because he had a header/up-pipe that they would not cover it although the turbo worked for a week after the install and there was no reason for the header/up-pipe to cause it to fail but before he called them and told them he talked to a lawyer and he was advised that before they deny his warrenty they have to prove without a doubt that the part he installed were the direct cause of the failed part. But before he called and told them I believe he had already he bought another turbo and his stock one started working after a week. So you go back down there and tell them that they need to prove without a doubt that the parts you installed caused the failure I highly doubt they are going to beable to so tell them to start ordering parts to fix your car DON"T LET THEM BULLY YOU AROUND....
