Looking Great guys ! I finally convinced my older bro(26) to pick up a 06 WRX TR in Grey, Funnything is that i thought grey would be a very common color, but looking at the pages, grey has the least ! anyway my bro picked his up at the worst place to buy a subaru in the bay area...... Stevens Creek. so now thats two in the family and my girlfriend has one also, will post up pics asap.

Here's a couple of mine. Last time she'll be this stock. I'm going wingless once I get the painted WRX sideskirts and the Carbon Fiber lip on. A couple of more power and handling goodies are on there way as well. Note the 05 Tail lights, my favorite mod so far!

/\ incase no one's told you...putting stock WRX side skirts on will require several mounting holes to be drilled into the body of the car.

I imagine you could do with out it....but I would not guarantee the skirts to stay on. there is not alot holding them on but snap clips.....

The screen itself is a Lilliput 7" touchscreen monitor modified by mechatroniks.com. They take it apart and put it into a bracket so it fits right into your double din slot. I had an aftermarket head unit so I bought the gauge pack housing from subaruwrxparts.com. Its a single din so the headunit fit right in with no modification. The actual carputer itself I bought from logicsupply.com. You can have one built however you like and you don't need a power inverter to run it. They make power supplies to run off of you 12v power supply in your car. The keyboard is a wireless keyboard I bought off of newegg. It fit right into the glovebox so that was a good thing. It took me about 6 months to plan everything out but its only a 30 minute install. I got all the ideas from MP3car.com. You should check them out

They're really not that green... I just had the shutter open on the camera a little longer to get a bit of detail in the shot. Ended up coming out blurry though

The auto timer was on, the camera itself was a piece, I had it sitting on the rear deck of the car, it just didn't want to stay still. I'll take some more with my new Pentax

so i see both sides of this argument... haha its a hott color.. it definitely changes with angle and lighting.. i traded a dark blue 06 2.5i wagon for this and lost about $5,500 in trade so now im paying out my *** for it but its my dream car... I have installed a MASSIVE AUDIO thumpn system and debadged the wrx off the back and custom made a panel with my bass knob from my massive amp for the open slot underneath my premier head unit.. I'm pretty happy with the out come.
My plans for this beast are.

remove the roof racks * i hate them with a passion*
get it tinted as dark as the maine laws allow
swaybars and anything else to reduce the small amount of body roll... ideas?
and try to find a actual body kit for it.. maybe even a wide body kit eventually * if either is ever made*

anyone know if there are bodykits for the 06 wagons? ive seen add on lips thats about it.. any help would be very much appreciated

Blitz Nur spec Cat back- very loud i might add.
K&N Short ram intake, very loud i might add again... after the brake in works well.
dont hit he to hard for this as i am not stunnin' like you guys...
Jensen single DIN DVD works great, friend has 1k LCDs in the back of his pontiac bonnie and they do not even come in as clear as this DVD unit. Unit is installed to function .... well lets not get into how and when i can use this item :)
Green under floor lighting to compliment the green/amber look, Soon will be fitted with matching DEFI gauges... soon... perhaps not soon but someday.
Pillars inside have been painted black to go with the external flow, the seatbelt caps have been painted red to contrast as well. (Custom painted holding very nicely)
Blitz Decal on rear window pannel, Soon KN decal and I-club decal.. if they show up.
Rally piggies, yes i think big eye looking out makes it look much better otherwise it looks like a dude looking at his own nose but that is just me.
Subaru de-badge and re-badge with black and red SWRT and emblem.
Mods for the near future...
alum. floor mats w. metal peddles.
Rota Boost 17s (black to run with the red calipers)
STI spoiler as the WRX is just to panzy and no i do not want euro.. or i would have gone with a jetta or pissaint. :)
Limo tint all around illegal.. pshhh so wha... W/ red subaru eyebrow decal and Huge rear windshield filling subaru starts (like the grill emblem.) (In red).
Red mud flaps, with red Rally armor print.
glove box PS3 w/ wireless controllers duh..., if an aftermarket company will manufacturer a compatible wireless browser unit for it i will own that as well, tack on another 100 bux a month for the darn thing... freaking suby.
front strut bar, rear sway bar.
May go BF KDWs but we will see.
rear and front black badge no more blue, and WRX de-badge and rebadge with silver and black not silver n blue. the little things.
Far future.
The defis
VF... i may go 39 but im not sure ..in any case new turbo.
maybe a cobb AP. ... may go another way with the tune.
LCD in headrest and fold down rear arm rest.
Not sure of a good coilover i want to run yet... we shall look into that when the time comes.
Custom red and black re upholstery in rear seats and maybe sparco front rednblacks but again we shall see how that goes.
I would like to go with a perrin red hose set to flow with the color but they dont have an 06 set up yet so humph, there loss not mine.

The STi pinks bounce quite a bit on my friends Legacy GT, thats why I was asking. He has the stock struts also but I wasn't sure if the spring rates matched up with the struts or not. I'll probably end up getting a set of coilovers anyway. Just don't have the cashflow at the moment. Getting a new gearset, clutch, and flywheel as we speak

Technically no, but I haven't been hassled for it. I was given a lot of grief for not having a plate at all, but this seems to be fine. And I know it works because I got caught by the photo radar van in my city. As long as the cops can still identify my car from the front, I think it's fine.

Thanks buddy. They do look like the Volk's, you're right. That is the reason I picked them and they are hyper black color. They look silver and they look black depending on the light. They look good spinning. Anyhow, the tires are what make the biggest difference.

Ya tires make a big difference. i still have stock tires and wheels there worn so bad. Im hopefuly getin wheels and tires this or next month i want gram lights 57s with the tires u have, cant decide on 17" or 18" though, or bronze or light grey

Great choice on brand, but I think the T57-RC five spokes look better and bigger even if you get 17s. Anyhow, 18s probably handle better on corners, but some reason the 17s look wider.

Ya i think thats just how the pics taken. Ya i was into 5 spokes for a while (before i had my wrx, ive only had it for a month) , there nice im jus kinda more into 7+ spoke now i duno why... I kinda want 17s more vause there lighter and tires are way cheaper for 17s then 18s

I really like the 5 spoke - I was looking @ these when I was about 2 buy rims - but they were still new & were on like 8 week back order or something crazy - I didn't want 2 wait - money burning hole in my pocket - so I went w/ a 7 spoke 18" - now every time I see those - I wish I waited

thx 'MyNikonLens' they are both at dusk about 15-30 mins after the sun went down. that's the way to get the golden glow look. they were taken at the south side of the sutter buttes, the smallest mt range in the world. it's near sutter, ca. about 45 mins north of sacramento.

Well how far are you from Grass Valley? I have always loved HWY 49 which you can take from Grass Valley up to hwy 395 and then down to Reno. It is long, but the twisted road is amazing and very few cars travel there.

i'm about 30-45 mins from gv. 49 is a great road. i haven't taken it all the way up to 395 but i bet it's awesome. going the other direction from gv on 49 is very fun.

hwy 20 is very cool too (the road from gv to marysville). so is hammonton-smartville road. it's hard to find but it's one of the funnest roads to drive around here.

the road heads south off hwy 20 near the town of smartville. the first part off 20 is a bit bumpy but the rest is newly paved. the road ends near hwy 70 in marysville and linda.

i do use photoshop but no fancy tricks. i just clean any dust spots, correct color, add some contrast, bump the saturation and call is a shoot.

Those are enkie RS5 they are 17x7 with i think +38 offset. They came with the car..I am not sure how I feel about them. I am holding out for some Work Emotions/ Rota Torques in 18.

honestly they're beautiful. just put nice 225/45/17 and you don't need to spend the money on wheels. just my opinion.
