I live in the Natomas Park area. I'm a screenwriter and director. I saw you guys lined up for an event in the Raley's shopping center a ways back. I was in the process of writing a screenplay at the time and I had the idea to place your cars in the film as part of a specific scene.

In a nutshell, the film is going to shoot this summer. There is a scene where I'd like to have 8 to 10 (more?) of you guys driving your WRX's single file, driving down a street, turning into a neighborhood, stopping, getting out and running towards another vehicle that is trying to get away from you. We will have permits and all to close the street down for you so you can do some nice crisp driving as you approach. I will want you all within feet of each others' bumpers and driving in perfect synchronicity. One of you will need to let one of our actors drive the lead car (you can ride shotgun with him). There won't be any risk to your vehicle because you're only going to be driving a total of about 500 feet at most.

Essentially, these are extra roles, but your cars will definitely be in the film as well as some of your faces (for those who are game, naturally) and the film will absolutely make the fesitval rounds, etc. You'll also get a copy of the film on DVD when it is done.

There is no pay for these roles because we don't have the budget for it. However, it will be a good time and we'll provide the food (and plenty of laughs) for you the day of the shoot. If the movie does well (which we believe it will), we will definitely pay you standard extra fees.
