I keep thinking I have these wires proberly seated yet they keep coming off.
One has yet to come off at all in 400 miles, so I know its possible, but the other 3 are driving me crazy!
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Chris

Stay where? On plug or on coils?

Only on plugs.....I swear Ive read every thread on this and I know you just have to push very hard......I just thought of something....I wonder if I have the wires too tightly in the wire looms...maybe they need more play by the plugs?

Solder them on. That, or duct tape.

I siliconed mine in. Just use RTV on the boot and leave it to dry.

RTV???
Don't you mean di-electric grease. I wouldn't want RTV falling into my cylinder 's from doing that.

As long as your plugs are present, your cylinders are sealed. I would be more worried about RTV acting as a resistor, if it got between the plug and wire connecters.

Sounds like the boot needs to be pushed up away from the end of the wire just a bit. If the distance from boot to end-of-wire is too short you compress the rubber when you click it in place, and compressed rubber acts like a spring. Give it vibration, temp changes, whatever... it'll spring back off.

Yes if they are falling off they were not on all the way.
I had to use automotive dialectric (sp) grease on the ends and boots to get them to click on and stay. Permatex makes a good grease.

I sorta have a hard time pushing a couple of mine on too. I cannot always get them to click. But nevertheless I push as hard as I can and I do not notice anyy effect on performance, I think the spark still gets there fine.

FYI - The spark doesn't travel down the wire. It's created at the open end of the spark plug. :p
