whats the diff.

Would a suped up WRX to 300hp be as fast as an STi?

A friend claims his 300hp wrx can "sometimes" beat an STi.. whats the real scoup.

Peak numbers only tell half the story. Its all about the area under the power curve. 300hp could be acheived in a 1.0l 2 cylinder, but it will be extremely unsuable power.

Plus, the STi should have more torque, so it'll be tough for a WRX to beat it.
