You know I probably doubt the 2006+ 2.5i can be turboed safely. The 10.0 compression ratio might be a bit high to do it safely, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 8.7-9.2 about where you'd want to have the compression ratio to turbo safely.

Haha, you guys...

The problem is not the compression ratio, it's the engine management and the weakness of the subaru N/A pistons. Unless you have engine management that's precise enough to guarantee ZERO detonation, you will probably pound a piston apart. The truth of the matter is that you will always get knock every once in a while because of weird loading between shifts or unusual gas or weather conditions, and it's the one day when your engine management can't compensate when you blow your engine.

Those who have been running their turbo kit on their N/A impreza for however long have just been lucky to have avoided those conditions.

hey i have an 07 impreza and just got an injen cold air intake, i would probably have to raplace it right? and jw what the price is please

If it is, you don't want it from Vivid. I'm sure someone like Ultimate Racing still sells smaller rotated kits. At least they did last time I saw.
