Arrow help!!! smoke coming out exhaust

hey, my 02 wrx has an upgraded avo turbo, oil catch can, tmic, exhaust, samco hoses and the intercept link ecu. this weekend, i noticed smoke coming out the tailpipe when in first and second under acceleration or just if you revved up in neutral. i am sure it is coming out in higher gears i am probably just going to fast to notice any smoke. the smoke is white, and i have noticed the oil has been going down. the car runs completely normal, might be more lag but thats it. i was thinking since oil goes through the turbo to cool it, that maybe something broke inside and is leaking oil, but wanted your guys input. Thanks alot

The only way for white smoke to come out the exhaust is if water is beeing burnt internally. Check your cooling system fluid level AND for hydrocarbons(if found this would indicate a head gasket failure). This would also cause a loss of power due to the loss of compression in the cylinder.

If its thick smoke it might be you turbo, there tends to be a little pool of oil at the downpipe gasket, where it bolts to the turbo.

If it is thin smoke than listen to nick.

If it was your headgasket the car would overheat or push coolant into the overflow tank until its full as well as smoke alot more. It could be the oil either not having a free enough return line or its just a thin enough grade that small amounts make it by the seals in the turbo. If it were your rings it would likely smoke all the time.
