SANTA MONICA (APRIL 10) - GT LIVE, the interactive motorsports festival featuring multiple spectator and participant oriented activities, announces a new partnership with Redline Time Attack. As part of the partnership GT Track Attack will be disbanded and Redline Time Attack will become the time attack partner at both GT LIVE events:
· Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 27-29 · Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia, October 5-7
Rules, run formats and other elements will be assimilated over the course of 2007. In 2008, Redline Time Attack events will be fully integrated into GT LIVE.
"We felt the timing was right and this partnership would go a long way towards strengthening the time attack movement in general. Once we got the conversation going things went rather quickly because the mutual benefits are so obvious. GT LIVE adds two world-class facilities to the Redline schedule and Redline brings a dedication to time attack. We are really looking forward to working with Redline and have additional announcements in the wings." stated Randy Grube, organizer of GT LIVE.
Added an enthusiastic Chris Willard, owner and organizer of Redline Time Attack: "Redline and GT LIVE forming this kind of partnership is the next step in the evolution of Time Attack racing in the U.S. Redline's Time Attack format added to the high profile nature of GT LIVE events is sure to bring high quality racing to fans and drivers alike. We here at Redline are looking forward to the additional GT LIVE events as part of our season of Time Attack racing. Together we hope to have the best in Motorsports entertainment!"
