Lafayette Reservoir BBQ - Sunday, September 14, 1:30 p.m.
It's that time again. I'm planning on a BBQ at Lafayette Reservoir.
DATE: Sunday, September 14
TIME: 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Lafayette Reservoir off Highway 24 just east of the Caldecott Tunnel
When you go into the park, go to the left and we will meet at the East end of the parking lot. There are some BBQ'ers on the hill on the East side of the reservoir that overlook the parking lot. I figure we can do it from 1:30 to 4:00.
It will be a pot luck and I will bring the charcoal, a lighter and fish to put on the Q. I may also put together a pasta salad or some other kind of salad. Anyway, post what you would like to bring and I'll keep update who's coming and what they're bringing.
I will probably arrive between 12:30 and 1:00 to set things up and start the fire. I will bring plenty of fish so whatever you bring, don't bring too much (unless it is for plates, cups and utinsils, then bring enough for everybody). Last time everybody brought enough food to feed everybody and we wasted a lot of food. If there is interest and people would like to chip in some money, I can pick up a few Tri-tips and season them a couple days before (basically split the cost).
I'll be on vacation until September 2nd and will update the list when I return.
